UEFA’s ‘musical’ delegation inspected the Donbass Arena

As we already mentioned, the Donbass Arena – being the major UEFA EURO 2012 venue in Donetsk – is visited by UEFA experts who check correspondence of the stadium’s technical facilities to European standards and regulations on a regular basis. During another scheduled inspection – following Michel Platini’s visit to the arena – the foreign professionals thoroughly checked the stadium’s sound equipment. Thus, they tested the equipment’s acoustic power and checked the cabling routes for additional sound to be attached to the roof.  

The checks were conducted using some original music tracks used by UEFA for such tournaments. One person operated the equipment from the Control Room, while the other sound engineer tested the sound parameters in different places throughout the bowl.

Following the inspection results, a special report will be made to specify the additional equipment to be installed at the stadium for hosting the UEFA EURO 2012. Please follow the website news for more information.
